Cocktail Journal - Secret Drawer

Tonight, I realized that while inebriated, I put my collection of favorite D&D dice in the "Secret Drawer" of our dining room table. A small drawer that opens on one side. So Pamela named our nightcap after that. Thought the dice were missing for days. Gin, vermouth, peychauds, lime, club soda.

1.5 oz Oppidan gin

0.75 oz Bianco Vermouth or Cocchi Americano

2 dashes peychauds

Juice of a 1/4 lime

Q Club Soda

Pour all into a tall collins glass, add ice, and stir for 10 seconds. Top off with more ice and Q club soda.

In theory, I might start sharing some playlists here, and here's a rare find. Someone took it upon themselves to smash Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada into the same mix, and it's pretty delightful. Chill, a little ominous, and slightly introspective leaning.

Bee's Knees #1

Hockey. And a Meyer Lemon Bee's Knees. 2 oz gin 0.75 oz honey syrup (1:1 sugar to water syrup) 0.75 oz Meyer lemon juice Shake really hard for about 25 seconds. Strain into a 6 oz or less cocktail glass. Garnish with Meyer lemon oil
