January 1-3, Journaling...
This is just a quick way to catch up and set the tone.
1 - Accountability, maybe, for some things I want to turn into habits. Those things are reading, as mentioned elsewhere, healthy behavior and mindfulness, and tracking the curated way I approach beverages.
2 - Weekly work on maps and TTRPG stuff that can be shared with the world.
3 - Sharing music, especially keeping myself accountable for developing my annual playlists. If you don't already know, I roll two ten-sided die every morning, to determine a year between 1950 and now, and give some focus to that year for the day
4 - There's probably some other stuff worth tracking and sharing publicly? I don't know, I'm not that cool, but maybe.
Some more details...
Took long enough (since March), but the Hopewell Brewing Staff Book Club reignites this winter. Our first book is Ubik, by Philip K. Dick.
Expect a lot of random science fiction, fantasy, and mythology references here.
I jumped into this book on day one of the sales team chatting about it, since I'm made sort of 2 goals for reading this year.
Goal 1 - Read 10 pages minimum per day
Goal 2 - Read 5000 pages for the year
The math not matching up is on purpose. Rather than insist I read like 14 pages or so a day, starting on day 2 of the year, I'm just aiming for 10 and seeing where I get. Most days I'll go over, and no days should be zero really.
